On August 21-22, the first Kazakh-Korean seminar on cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies is being held at the International Technology Park of IT startups Astana Hub.
The seminar is held with the participation of A. Ospanov, Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry, and Kang So Oh, Vice President of the National Agency for the Information Society of the Republic of Korea. Among the participants are also representatives of state bodies, experts in the field of ICT and digital transformation.
Within two days, experts from the National Agency for the Information Society of the Republic of Korea will talk about best practices in the development of government architecture, Smart City, 5G, artificial intelligence, big data. Experts will also share their experience in the field of public policy of the Republic of Korea in the field of informatization, digital transformation of economic sectors and the application of innovation in government projects.
The workshop also included a bilateral meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Agency of the Information Society of the Republic of Korea, at which the participants discussed the creation of the Kazakh-Korean Cooperation Center in the field of information technologies based on Astana Hub. The main goal of creating the Center is the mutual exchange of experience and knowledge, the joint development and implementation of priority projects in the development of startup ecosystems, state support for IT companies, the introduction of the latest technologies, such as blockchain, the development of an open data policy, the protection of personal data, 5G and other areas.
The second day of the seminar will continue with the practical part, namely holding workshops on the analysis of real examples of the introduction of digital projects in the government of the Republic of Korea.
